6 Reasons Why "I'm Too Young" Is The Most Ridiculous Excuse For Not Starting A Business.

6 Reasons Why "I'm Too Young" Is The Most Ridiculous Excuse For Not Starting A Business.

I hear a lot of young people say stuff like "when I'm older, I'll have a huge successful business that'll operate in several countries around the world and would become a huge successful and popular brand." I hear some say "when I'm out of college, I'll start my own business because i can't work for someone else ... blah blah blah... Now, as much as i admire these guys for wanting to be entrepreneurs and have total control of their lives. I usually ask them this question; "What's stopping you from starting right now?" I usually get a lot of different answers but in the end, it all seems like they're saying the exact same thing; "I'm still young, I'm not ready, I still have time" I decided to put together this article to show young people why the ages 18 (or younger) to 29 are the best years to start your own business

1. You probably don't have a lot of expenses and commitments yet

A lot of young people (Especially if you’re 18, 19 or in your early twenties) still live with their parents which means they don't settle a lot of bills such as rent, huge car bills and children's school fees every month. Even if you've moved out, you're probably renting a small apartment and might even be sharing the rent with a roommate or two. If You have a car, its most likely a small one that's not very expensive to maintain. Also if you're in your early twenties You're probably aren't married and don't have kids yet, which means you can easily squeeze out a lot of time from things like ditching that next party and not watching as much TV and instead redirect that time to your business. When you're married and cant give up as much time because you have to spend that extra time with your family and the things that are really important to you. Whatever the case is, right now, you have (or can easily save up) some extra money and time to start your business on a small scale and keep expanding it. Waiting till you're over 30 with more responsibilities, expenses and a family is probably not the best. If you make those sacrifices of time and money now and you work hard and smart at your business you will soon enough have more than enough time and money to take care of your family and the things that really matter  to you.

2. If you’re in college or university, there are very many 'student only' resources and organizations that can help you succeed.

Students with businesses have access to classmates (who are potential employees, partners or customers) support, organizations and funding that only students can access. There are numerous organizations that love to mentor, support and even fund students, all of which out-of-school entrepreneurs don't get

3. You have enough time to fail.

There are some inevitable failures you must go through As an entrepreneur, you will make some mistakes
learn from them, and then apply the lessons learned. Its only after making several mistakes that you begin to experience the great successes desired every business owner. It just makes sense to make all the mistakes in your 20's when there's still enough time to experiment when you still have time to learn what works and what doesn't work. Its simply better to clear out most of the mistakes now rather than just start experiencing them in your thirties, forties and above. If you start early and learn quickly you should begin earning the benefits of being your own boss by the time you're in your thirties. So obviously, the earlier the better.

4. You have and understand technology!!!

You've had technology since you were a kid, its familiar to you, unlike the older generation who have not had, and maybe even resisted technology most of their life. Most older people just started to have an 'open mind' to the power of technology. For you, exploring new apps is so easy, you and the internet speak the same language. You know how connect with people all over the world through social media, emails. YouTube is literally the best teacher in the world. Seriously! You can find almost any 'how to' on there. Its never been easier to build a global business.

5. You’re still very ambitious

You've not experienced failure as much as older entrepreneurs. You are more likely to achieve great feats in your business if you work hard because you have a lot of zeal, ambition and energy, 'You still believe you can fly' and this kind of mindset can take your business to the moon. Facebook is a great example.

6. Resources are now extremely cheap

The cost of hiring people and knowledge is very affordable, thanks to the internet. There are experts from various countries throughout the world that you an easily find on the internet. You can have a website set up for as low as $100. There are even several resource platforms such as Fiverr that sell excellent services for as low as $5.

Your Hour-a-Day Fast Track to Success

Your Hour-a-Day Fast Track to Success

What does it take to be successful?
You don't have to be the smartest person in the world or be born with a silver spoon. There is a very simple, tried and proven method that will work for just about anyone . . . and in a remarkably short time. Study something — anything that is of interest to you — for one hour a day in the same way that a university student would study one of his courses.
This is a concept that was popularized by Earl Nightingale a half-century ago and then largely forgotten. But, as Nightingale discovered, daily study is a trait of almost all successful individuals. And it very quickly pays off. Because in just six months of concentrated, one-hour-a-day study, you can understand the basics of almost any topic. Sound simple? It is. That’s the beauty of it, and one of the reasons this technique can change lives . . . the lives of directionless teenagers . . . of people stuck in mid-career ruts . . . and of those in their golden years who feel sidelined by society and need some extra cash.
The obvious truth is that if you study something you are passionate about. It not only makes the learning fun but also assures that your new career will be emotionally as well as financially satisfying. Happy with the job or company you’re already working for? There is no surer way to move up the corporate ladder than by learning more about the industry you’re in. After just a month or two of daily study, you’ll be demonstrating your fast-growing knowledge on the job — and attracting the attention of your superiors.

How can you find an extra hour a day in which to study?
I’ve found that the best way to proceed is to schedule your study period for the same time each day. I prefer the quiet hour between 5:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. Too early for you? Go to bed by 10 p.m. and you can still get in a solid seven hours of sleep before rising at 5 a.m. to make coffee and get in the groove.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Don’t procrastinate. If you don’t learn something new today, you will just be one day older and not one bit smarter tomorrow. And don’t forget to spread Mr. Nightingale’s word: Knowledge is power — and you can acquire a remarkable amount of knowledge in just one hour a day. Share this with someone else if you got Value from this.
