SOMETIMES LEAVE THE MONEY ON THE TABLE

I recently watched a video on YouTube  about some of the crazy things people have done for money. It sucks that so many people have totally lost all sense of ethics cos they wanna "get it" In my opinion,  you don't need to lose yourself to get da big bucks.
-
-
Here's a key to wealth (ZIG ZIGLAR): "If you help enough people get what they want, you'd have everything you want"
IN OTHER WORDS,
"The money will come in large massive amounts when you give people value in large massive amounts"
-
-
Here's another key to happiness (Jim Rohn): "Don't sell out your virtues your values in pursuit of success"... I mean.. what good is it to gain the whole world and lose your own soul?

TRUTH: MOST PEOPLE ARE FULL OF CRAP.

Just sitting here right now thinking about life... and how most people are just full of BS.

Excuse the language, but I SEE THIS HAPPEN ALL THE TIME... People talking about how they want to impove their lives from a monetary standpoint, yet they're  out spending every bit of cash they get on shoes, clothes and gadgets they can't really afford...

I can spend just 10 minutes talking to you and (if we have a honest conversation) be able to tell what you're really committed to.

By listening to what you talk about, AND observing what you DO consistently. I can tell what you really want and believe you can have.

The biggest mind shift I made in 2012 was realizing that in order to have a different result than everyone else, I had to learn not to behave or act like everyone else.

WOULD YOU rather spend a fortune on a watch so you can show it off, rather than invest it into proven avenues Guaranteed to earn you even more?

ARE YOU LIKE the man or woman who says they want to improve their bank accounts and earn more money, but yet you sleep 10 hours a night and really have nothing going on??
••

THEN you're like a man or woman who says they want to normalize their weight, but everytime you see them, they're eating..
°

OBVIOUSLY, in both cases, you can tell what they're really committed to: Being BROKE and OBESE for the rest of their lives respectively..

You don't have to listen to what people say, just take a look at what they DO.

That always says a lot.
••

And FINALLY, remember that results do not lie. If you don't yet have what you desire, then something has to change/improve.

Keep working hard Rockstar!

My 5 Biggest Lessons Learnt in the year 2017 (2)

My 5 Biggest Lessons Learnt in the year 2017 (2)

I am Olorunfemi Ajao ,a contributing writer on this blog. I will love to share some of the lessons I learnt in 2017 with you. I will be sharing them in no particular order.

1) Rome was not built in a day : I used to be someone with a lot of plans(I still am). The problem is ,I loved to see my plans come into reality in a shorter time than they should take normally. Whenever there was  no result I got frustrated and dropped the plan. Well,I experienced a turn around in the course of this year. I went to a programme in Ayoola's church (Dynamo weekend) . Ayoola took one of the sessions and he talked about "slight edge principle" That changed everything. He made reference to the popular saying "Rome was not built in a day" and added that  blocks were laid daily. This showed consistency. He cited the example of how he wanted to loose weight at some point and he had to tell himself,"you didn't add this weight in one day,so definitely you can't lose it in a day . " I remember he said 'slight edge' was about adding a little to what you are comfortable with already. Guess what ?you can apply it in your academics ,reading your bible, saving money. So I say to myself "you can't get  there in one day,but today's activity will get you closer "

2) God does not only know your end but He also has the plan : I like to use the jollof rice analogy😁. God knows I  am  going to need jollof rice ,He also knows how to prepare the jollof rice. Why don't I hang on while He prepares the jollof rice? Instead of snatching the recipe and go around looking for someone to help me cook it. The person may not even know how to cook and possibly will not tell me but just do a guess work and spoil the bill of rice.

3) It is good to follow up on plans : It is a good idea to have plans but it is
best when you have a follow up on the plans . So that each time you fall short of your plans you can get right on track. But how do you do that if you are not following up? Ask questions like "have I done this today?" If You haven't,"isn't now the best time to do it? "...etc

4) Surround yourself with people of like minds :You know,I have been wanting to lose some weight but I get tired along the way...because there were no 'people of like minds'. When I got to my room I found out my roommates wanted to workout (most of them to keep fit). My exercise began and my roommates were my driving force whenever I got tired and wanted to give up. There were days I had to encourage them too. We watched each others back. I encourage you to surround yourself with people of like minds, people who see the possibility in what you are set out to achieve.(special shoutout to Adunola, you challenged  and most importantly supported me😚 )  The people around me  coupled  with slight edge principle made me achieve my weight loss goal and of course I prayed about it. Funny right? That brings me to my last but most important lesson.

5) Prayer changes everything : I see God as a friend that I can share anything on my mind with. Prayer changes everything. It can never be over emphasized.

My 5 Biggest Lessons From 2017

Hello readers,Happy new year!2018 promises to be a great year. You do not need the "new year, new me" cliché , just be a better you. I believe you have learnt some things in the past year and if you employ them well  you can get better. Well, well, I will be sharing with us 5 big lessons I learnt in the year 2017 ( in no particular order )

1) No one owes you anything : It's commonly  said that life is not fair. Well, I have discovered that life is fair to those that are intentional about it. It is up to you to go out there and get what you want. You don't have to wait for someone to dish it out for you because really nobody will . When this 'dishing' doesn't happen, a lot of people get frustrated. No one is going to hand over what you want to you. You basically have to find your way to get it.

2) You can't make anyone do anything for you : What I mean is you can be nice to people, you can be polite ,you can be a great person but you cannot make anyone do anything for you. When you realize this and you are at peace with this fact, it makes a lot of things easy. I mean, you do not get stressed when people behave or do not behave in a certain manner . You do not feel bad when things don't go exactly the way you want or planned it. You have to realize that the only person you can control is YOU.

3) Sometimes you have to walk away from people you love because they are toxic to you : I mean people that are close to you, people that have 'won' a space in your heart and you later realize that they are not good for you .This is because the world does not care who it is that is holding you back ,success does not care. That they are toxic to you does not make them bad people,it only means they do not help you to be your best. Whoever it is you have to walk away from,do so! So you can move forward .

4) Health matters : As a matter of fact, health is a big deal. It does not matter who you are or how much you have,if you do not pay attention to your health you cannot have a good day. It should be your priority of course after your faith. For me,my faith comes first, then my health and family. Yes,health before family because without good health you cannot relate with your family. Make sure you take good care of yourself.

5) Loyalty : Loyalty is really really scarce. You should cherish, nourish the few people who are loyal to you.
Basically, these are the 5 lessons that I learnt this year.
Please Do well to share the lessons you learnt in the year 2017. I look forward to your responses. Do have a great year ahead.

3 KEYS TO HAPPINESS

No matter how much you achieve in life, deep down, the ultimate need of every human is to be truly happy. so i want to share with you today 3 tips to increase you happiness levels, so let's get right to it.

1. Progress = Happiness

Everyday, make some progress in at least one area of your life, no matter how little. If you want to be happy, you have to keep moving forward. There is no stagnation in life, if you aren't going forward, you're going backwards, if you aren't growing you're dying. Now, that seems like a very rash statement but it's the truth, and here's the deal; when you're going forward you'll be happy, when you're moving backwards or regressing, you'll be unhappy. It's that simple.

2. Trade Expectations For Appreciation

Stop expecting things from people. Humans are naturally selfish beings and everybody is really just looking out for their personal interests most of the time, so when you keep expecting special treatment or things from people, you'll keep getting disappointed. But when you learn to appreciate the little things around you, and you learn to focus on the good things and the good people that are in your life right now, you'd be a much happier person.

3. Contribute/give back

There are so many people who have made a lot of money but are still very unhappy. They are extremely miserable, sad grumpy and frustrated. In the end, even if you have all the money and good things in the world, you'd be a sad, miserable and unhappy person if you're not actively contributing to the universe. I mean, just check out any really happy, cheerful person, I can assure you of one thing. They are givers. Some call it philanthropy, some call it leaving a legacy but it all boils down to one word; Contribution. I guess it's why the saying goes; giving is the bounty of life. Just check your own feelings when you do good for somebody, you know that warm feeling that you get, that 'I've done good' feeling. Just keep giving back constantly and you'll be a happy person. That's a promise.

So those are the 3 tips for happiness that I bring to you today. Hopefully you not only enjoyed reading it but you got good value from it and are willing to share this with someone else who needs to read this.

Cheers to your happiness.
I remain your friend,
